Rosyvid – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Rosyvid, a video platform operated by Rosyvid Oy, Finland ("Rosyvid", "we", "us").

By using Rosyvid, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

In short: Rosyvid sells access to educational video content. Creators provide content; Rosyvid handles payments, taxes, refunds, and support.

Your use of Rosyvid is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. What Rosyvid Is

Rosyvid is a platform for selling and accessing educational and instructional video content.

Rosyvid is the seller of record. When a Buyer purchases content on Rosyvid, the transaction is between the Buyer and Rosyvid. Rosyvid handles payments, taxes, refunds, and buyer support.

Creators provide content to the platform and earn a share of each sale. Creators are content partners, not the sellers. See Section 7 for Creator-specific terms.

2. User Roles

Buyers

Buyers purchase access to video collections on Rosyvid.

When you buy content, you are purchasing from Rosyvid. For questions about purchases, refunds, or access, contact Rosyvid at support@rosyvid.com.

Creators

Creators upload video content and organize it into collections. Creators propose prices for their content, subject to Rosyvid's approval. Rosyvid controls the final sale, including pricing, presentation, access, refunds, and buyer support. Rosyvid pays Creators their share of each sale.

Creators are responsible for:

  • The content they upload or make available
  • Ensuring they have the rights to distribute that content
  • Complying with Rosyvid's Content Policy (see Section 8)

Rosyvid handles payment processing, VAT, buyer support, and refunds on behalf of Creators.

3. Accounts

To purchase or access content on Rosyvid, an account is required. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use Rosyvid.

When you sign in for the first time, an account is created automatically using the information provided by your authentication method (such as your email address). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

Rosyvid may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Purchases & Access

  • Purchases on Rosyvid are one-time payments unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Payments are charged immediately at checkout.
  • Access to content is granted after successful payment.

Access to content is linked to a valid payment. If a payment is refunded, reversed, or disputed, access to the associated content may be revoked.

Purchases grant a right to access and view content through the platform. No ownership of the content is transferred. Access is personal and non-transferable.

5. EU Digital Content Withdrawal Waiver

By purchasing digital content on Rosyvid, the Buyer consents to receiving immediate access and acknowledges that they thereby lose their 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer protection law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)).

This acknowledgment is collected before checkout.

6. Content Changes & Availability

When purchasing a collection, Buyers purchase access to the content as it exists on the platform, not a fixed or immutable product.

Content may be updated over time, including adding, replacing, or removing videos, for example to improve quality or correct errors.

Availability guarantee: If content you have purchased becomes unavailable for any reason, Rosyvid will make reasonable efforts to maintain access for at least 90 days from the date of removal, except where removal is required by law or necessary to enforce our Content Policy.

7. Creator Terms

Creator Approval

Creators must be approved by Rosyvid before they can publish content. Rosyvid reviews creator applications and may approve or reject them at its discretion.

Platform Fees

Rosyvid charges Creators a platform fee per completed sale, as shown in the Creator dashboard.

At the time of writing, the standard fees are:

  • 18% per sale
  • A monthly fee cap of EUR 200 per Creator
  • After the cap is reached, a reduced fee of 10% for the remainder of the month

The price you propose is the pre-tax price. Applicable taxes (such as VAT) are calculated and added at checkout based on the buyer's location. The platform fee is calculated from your set price, not from the total the buyer pays.

The platform fee covers payment processing, VAT handling, buyer support, and platform operations. Creators see a single fee — there is no separate payment processing charge.

Any changes to platform fees will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will not affect purchases already completed.

Rosyvid may adjust pricing, availability, or access to content at any time to comply with legal, regulatory, or payment provider requirements.

Payouts

Rosyvid pays Creators their share of sales on a monthly basis after the close of each month, subject to a minimum payout threshold (currently EUR 25).

If a refund is issued after a payout has been made, the refunded amount will be deducted from the Creator's next payout.

Payouts are subject to successful receipt of funds from the payment provider and may be adjusted for refunds, disputes, or fees.

Platform Control

Rosyvid may remove content, suspend creators, or delay or withhold payouts where necessary to prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or enforce these Terms.

Content Ownership

Creators retain ownership of the content they upload. By uploading content to Rosyvid, Creators grant Rosyvid a non-exclusive license to host, distribute, and sell access to that content on the platform.

This license ends when the Creator removes the content from the platform, subject to the 90-day availability guarantee in Section 6.

8. Content Policy (Acceptable Use)

Rosyvid is designed for pre-recorded educational and instructional content. Creators may not upload, sell, or distribute content that:

  • Is illegal under applicable law
  • Infringes copyrights or other intellectual property rights
  • Is pornographic or sexually explicit
  • Exploits or harms minors (zero tolerance)
  • Promotes hate, violence, or severe harassment
  • Promotes or facilitates gambling, lotteries, or wagering
  • Impersonates others or misrepresents identity, including through deepfakes or misleading synthetic media
  • Is clearly deceptive or fraudulent
  • Promotes investment schemes, pyramid schemes, business opportunities, or "get rich quick" programs
  • Provides medical, health, or fitness advice, including weight loss, nutrition, and muscle building programs
  • Provides financial advice, trading strategies or signals, or credit counselling
  • Provides personalized legal or other regulated professional advice
  • Offers certification or exam preparation services, essay writing, or ghostwriting
  • Contains pseudo-science content, including clairvoyance, horoscopes, or fortune-telling

Rosyvid is a platform for pre-recorded digital content. It may not be used to sell live services, consulting sessions, coaching, or direct access to individuals.

Content must also comply with the acceptable use policies of the payment providers used by the platform. If a payment provider determines that content violates their policies, Rosyvid may be required to remove it.

Rosyvid may review and monitor content on the platform and may remove content, unpublish collections, suspend accounts, or report illegal material to authorities where required by law. Repeated violations, including repeated copyright infringement, may result in permanent account termination.

Buyers may report content they believe violates this policy.

9. Refunds, Chargebacks & Disputes

Refunds

Rosyvid handles all refund decisions. Buyers may request a refund in accordance with the Refund Policy. Full details on eligibility, timeframes, and the process are available on the Refund Policy page.

If a refund is issued, access to the associated content is revoked.

Chargebacks & Disputes

If a Buyer disputes or reverses a payment through a chargeback, Rosyvid may suspend access to the associated content while the dispute is being resolved, and may revoke access if the chargeback is upheld.

Repeated disputes or abuse may result in account suspension.

10. Taxes

Rosyvid and its payment provider handle applicable taxes (such as VAT) on purchases. Buyers see the final price including any applicable taxes at checkout.

11. Third-Party Services

Rosyvid relies on third-party service providers (such as payment processors, authentication services, video hosting providers, and cloud infrastructure) to operate the platform. These providers may change over time.

Rosyvid aims to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Rosyvid is not responsible for service interruptions caused by third-party providers beyond its reasonable control. For disruptions within Rosyvid's own platform, we will make reasonable efforts to restore service promptly.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Rosyvid does not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or suitability of content provided by Creators.
  • Rosyvid is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Rosyvid's total liability to any individual user is limited to the greater of (a) the amount paid by the user to Rosyvid during the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) the total platform fees paid by a Creator to Rosyvid during the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using Rosyvid at any time.

Rosyvid may suspend or terminate access to the platform if these Terms are violated, if required by law, or if necessary to prevent fraud or abuse. Termination may result in loss of access to content or accounts, subject to the availability guarantee in Section 6.

14. Changes to These Terms

Rosyvid may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance through the platform or by email. Continued use of Rosyvid after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
